Diving in Taganga

Why we recommend it
Taganga is a fishing village about 15 minutes from Santa Marta, on a calm bay surrounded by dry hills. It’s one of the best-known diving spots on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
Close to shore there are reefs and seabeds full of colorful fish, ideal for a first dive or to get certified. Several dive schools head out from the main beach every day.
